Vladimir was supposed to be an evil vampire.
But nobody took him seriously because of one small costume flaw.
04-05
Vladimir loved PINK! "Bwahahaha!"
06-07
The poor villagers grumbled about this.
A proper vampire wouldn't dust spider webs with pink glitter.
"But they were so dreary!"
08-09
A proper vampire wouldn't tie pink ribbons on the bats in the belfries.
"But they were so drab!"
10-11
A proper vampire wouldn't give Frank a make-over.
"You must admit, he was in dire need."
12-13
Vladimir tried to be what the villagers wanted. He swooped over the town on
an evil quest to find victims, but nobody ran.
He stood on a rooftop and struck an evil pose. But a little girl shouted, "Look, it's a flamingo!"
14-15
He cornered villagers on the sidewalk and said, "I vant to suck your bloood."
But they knew he didn't mean it, and laughed at Vladimir.
Vladimir was so embarrassed.
16-17
He flew home and pouted in his pink, velvet-lined coffin.
18-19
Suddenly, a loud noise awakened him. Clang! Clang! Clang!
The villagers were storming Vladimir's castle with pitchforks and torches!
"We want a proper vampire," they yelled. "Not a PINK one!"
20-21
Vladimir stood in his castle window and frowned. His cheeks flushed hot pink. Steam blew out his pointy ears. Vladimir was upset, SO UPSET, that... POOF!
22-23
Vladimir exploded into an enormous pink bat! Flap, flap, flap.
The villagers stared.
The villagers cheered!
“How cool is that?” They cried. “We have a pink bat!”
One villager filmed the entire thing and posted it to the internet...
24-25
Vladimir went viral. Suddenly, he was all the rage, all around the world.
26-27
Pink bat-loving tourists descended on the village. Magazines featured the castle’s pink decor, while vendors sold t-shirts.
28-29
Paparazzi followed Vladimir through the streets.
They shouted, “Turn into a bat for us, Vladdy!”
While fans begged for his autograph.
30-31
Business was booming! And the villagers were not poor anymore.
All thanks to Vladimir, who may not have been an evil vampire,
but turned out to be the right vampire...
32-00
especially in pink. "Bwahahaha!"
