Join me as I share my passion for storytelling and my path into children’s picture books.
I’ll tell a few tall tales and talk about the unique history of the Jack Tales as they travelled
through the Appalachian mountains. I’ll share the strange coincidences of storytelling that have
become a unifying thread in my life leading me to create children’s picture books.
From history to the modern, I’ll share my digital illustration method and let you know
some of the tricks to writing and telling a good story.

ice-cream flavors for the newest flavor to be carried in Jake's Ice-Cream,
with a portion of the sales going to support your worthwhile cause!
Little Shop of Stories - We had a great time reading bed-time stories
and generally getting everybody too wound up to sleep.
Spellbound Children's Bookshop - What a sweet store for a book signing,
and we had a wonderful weekend in Asheville, North Carolina to boot!
