MONDAY: Tourist Day in Edinburgh - Museum of Childhood
Another fun thing we did on our designated tourist play day in Edinburgh was head to the Museum of Childhood. CLICK HERE to read about it!

SUNDAY: Video of the Week...
Ferdinand the Movie! OMG - Blue Sky has made Ferdinand into an animated movie! The trailer looks to include quite a bit that's not in the classic children's picture book, but Blue Sky does good work, so let's hope! Click the image to watch the trailer on YouTube.

SATURDAY: Tourist Day in Edinburgh - the National Museum
Despite coming down to the end of my final term here at uni and the tons of work I have to do for my graduate show, I do try to save one day a week to play. Besides, the weather has been gorgeous lately and we wanted to get out and about. But what to do, what to do? How about some of those touristy things that we'd never gotten to before? Like, going up to the observation terrace at the National Museum of Scotland? CLICK HERE to read more.

FRIDAY: Linky List
CLICK HERE to check out this week's interesting links, including the article "Journalism 101: Kids' Books About Reporters and the Role of the Press."

THURSDAY FEATURE: Laurel Snyder's CHARLIE AND MOUSE
SNEAK PEEK: I'm almost afraid to share the story of how Charlie and Mouse were born, because honestly, it's been a fantasy experience. Nothing else I've written has been so easy, or broken the "rules" in so many ways. CLICK HERE to read all about it.

WEDNESDAY: Bookmarks 2017
All the MA and MFA students shared 1.5 tables, so it was crammed silly with all our creations. CLICK HERE to read more.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK:
"To create great work, here's how you must spend your time:
1% Inspiration, 9% Perspiration, 90% Justification."

- George Lois

Did You Know...
I create my coloring pages for teachers, librarians, booksellers, and parents to enjoy for free with their children, but you can also purchase rights to an image for commercial use, please contact me. Meanwhile, if you have questions about usage, please visit my Angel Policy page.
