Coloring Page TUESDAY: Vacation Flamingo
Are you going somewhere fun for vacation? I'm still teaching, so send me pics of your toes in the sand so that I can live vicariously! Click the image for a large version to download, and CLICK HERE for more coloring pages!

MONDAY: Candice's Birthday!
Today is Candice Ransom's birthday! To celebrate, yesterday, several of us took her to her fave restaurant for a Sunday breakfast in Roanoke, the K&W. Why the K&W, a humble meat and three? Because, on Sundays, the chorus from a local church eat there too and when they finish, they start singing. CLICK HERE to read and hear more.

SUNDAY: VIDEO: The Adobe Illustrator Story
When Adobe Illustrator first shipped in 1987, it was the first software application for a young company that had, until then, focused solely on Adobe PostScript. The new product not only altered Adobe's course, it changed drawing and graphic design forever. Click the image to see the story.

WEDNESDAY: My Graduation!
Graduation was July 4th at the University of Edinburgh. I'm teaching in Virginia, so missed it, but I was there in spirit, wishing all my classmates the best of luck and happy futures! And look what they did for me! I WAS there!!!! THANK YOU so much Catherine, Boris, and Narudee!!!

QUOTE OF THE WEEK:
"Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood."
– Mr. (Fred) Rogers

I create my coloring pages for teachers, librarians, booksellers, and parents to enjoy for free with their children, but you can also purchase rights to an image for commercial use, please contact me. Meanwhile, if you have questions about usage, please visit my Angel Policy page.
