Illustration Friday, Theme: Remote

Missed last week because of the move. This is an illustration for a chapter book I have with my agent right now, "A Bird On Water Street." Definitely the feeling of remoteness.

Luv the dry, dusty feel to this illustration. I can almost hear the clothes flapping in the breeze.

List 20 Random Facts about yourself. Then go tag as many others as it takes you (in minutes) to do this. Hope you don't mind too much. :-)

This looks like the afternoon "beauty light." It's so warm and faraway looking...another time, another place, isolated. Beautiful!
