Video Book Review - Wondrous Strange
Welcome to my very first Video Book Review! Today I'm reviewing "Wondrous Strange" by Lesley Livingston and relating it to other good reads to give you an idea of what it's like.
Now I know the sound isn't too great (gotta work on that), but for a first run, I hope it's not too bad. Leave me some comments and let me know what you think!

So fun! What a great idea too. And you look maahvalous!
Very cool, e!
Thanks for the plug! I've been thinking about trying the vlogging thing of late, and I'll have to check out this service. I especially like the little HTML tags that pop up throughout.
The sound was pretty rough on my end--as though it had been "burned hot." In other words, it sounded like it was recorded at too high a volume, or perhaps too close to the mic. I tried to adjust my volume playback on my end, but it still came out rough.
Some constructive criticism, I hope! I'm honored to be in your first vlog!
Thanks guys! And yup on the sound quality. I tried turning it down while recording, and sitting farther away, but nothing seemed to work. I'll do some more experimenting to try to figure it out. Hopefully my next installment will be much easier on the ears!

I like it! You look good and I like the background and visual set up. The sound was tough to listen to, I only made it halfway. I like the conversational style. It may be good to keep videos quite short also.
Just went back for the second half. The length isn't bad and it's well focused. I think three minutes is about my max attention span for a video and at the same time I kind of want to know just a little more about the books. I did like the detail like letting us know about the protagonist being in a Shakespeare play, Your glasses look great on you. I think it's awesome overall except for the sound. The tags are also very cool. Keep 'em coming!
How fun. I might try "reading" my new book. I wonder how uploading a sound track might work. OOOO... the possibilities. Thanks e, you are always an inspiration.
That was great! Did you write up what you were going to say or just speak off the cuff? Hope there's more to come.
Hi shelburns,
Thanks! I was just speaking off the cuff which is why I forgot to mention the romances between fae and mortals and the like. But I rarely work from a script - I think that would mess me up more than anything!

Hi, I enjoyed it! But it did buzz when I listened to it, so you'll probably want to find a way to lessen or eliminate that . . . great stuff, though!
Nice job! What an inspiration. Keep up the great work!
What everyone else said!
(And thanks for reminding me I need new glasses...)
No, seriously, great job.
