illustration Friday, Theme: Wisdom


Well, she may be more appropriate at Halloween, but she fits this week's theme! Actually created her in stages over about ten years. Pencil sketch sat in a box for most of those years. I applied color about three years ago, mostly with colored pencil. Hm. Maybe I'll take her into digital next . . .

She's fabulous! I love her greens eyes and green nails..and those hands...and her face! I wouldn't change it at all. I really like the effect you've achieved with the colored pencils. What a great illustration!

gorgeous work...it's life like, very multi-demensional. so neat that it's evolved over such a long period, maybe in another ten years there'll be yet another graphic technology so that you can play with it more!
