Illustration Friday, Theme: Blue
Well this week's theme is "Blue" and I have the perfect thing. This is a scene from my story "The Big Blue Oops!" Lou is trying to find something to clean her world - which has turned completely blue!!

Great illustration - I just love it. Orange kitty is a great complimentary shot of color. I'd love to see more from the story. Fun stuff - nicely rendered!

I remember how much I liked the Arnold Lobel's book The Great Blueness about the King/wizard who was tired of gray.
I'm glad you gave a bit of explanation... I was worried that perhaps the laundry room had filled up with water! I agree that the orange cat is necessisito!
Excellent! I love the astonished flying cat and the sort of fish-eye view we get of her blue world. The orange of the cat and her body create the perfect contrast to the blue.

Very nice! The bubbles in the washer are my favorite part! I can almost hear the slosh of the water that would be the calm before the storm of all of that other stuff hitting the foor. :)
