Illustration Friday: Angels and Devils

I actually did this several years ago for Worth 1000 - a theme of opposites. Fit with the theme this week though, didn't it?

Update: Okay guys, for some reason everybody and their mother is downloading this image. I don't suppose I can stop you, but could you please leave me a note? Maybe even say "thanks"? But more importantly, please educate yourselves about copyright laws and infringement. Just because you can download an image from the internet does not mean it is legal to do so. It is not legal to use my image without compensating me or getting my permission. Please respect that.

That's lovely, really captured a sense of duality. It made me think of Two Face as well, what's that saying about great minds?

It's great to have old work one can plug into a Friday's theme ... suddenly giving that piece a new lease on life. This one deserved to see some the light of day again.

Hi Lissa,
I appreciate your interest in my work, and I DO appreciate that you asked. However, I don't permit my art to be used without compensation (unless expressly stated) or manipulated in any way. I make my living by selling my art - if people use my art without compensating me, I can't afford to continue creating. Please read my post about the Orphan Works Law being hush, hushed through Congress right now to get a better understanding of how usage without compensation hurts artists.

All that said, I can't stop you from using my artwork illegally. I have to keep my work online to advertise my services, so must rely on the good morals of others to respect my property. Many people don't as I can see in my stats that this image continues to be downloaded almost daily by people who have not asked permission.

I truly do appreciate your inquiry - you show strong moral character in having done so. Especially knowing that my answer might be no.
Best wishes,
e
