Illustration Friday, Theme: Dreams

Well, pooie. "DreamBoat" would have been perfect for this week's theme. But I think this one fits too. Gotta wonder, is the little one awake? Sleepcrawling? Hmm.

As usual, I luv your work ! That rug is very detailed, and maybe it's the bear who is dreaming about a lil' munchkin visitor crawling around in the hallways.

A fez cap woulda been sooo cute on your bear !

This reminds me of two things: first, being a littl girl and looking through a doorway at adults when I was supposed to be in bed and second, my grandfather who died when I was almost 2. The only thing I remember about him is that I thought he was a tiger, probabaly because he used to clear his throat rather loudly. I like this illustration because it makes me think of how little children often don't observe the boundary between their imaginations and reality. I also like it because it's so beautifully done. I always enjoy seeing your work! Enjoy your drawing classes...I wish I could attend them:>
